Moodle Plugin – Inventory & Booking System

1. Purpose

These Terms govern the use of the Moodle plugin Inventory & Booking System (hereinafter referred to as the “Plugin”), which allows the management of inventories and the booking of items within Moodle platforms.

2. Owner

The Plugin is developed and distributed by mdlbox and its developers.

Any other website must not be considered official.

3. License of use

The Plugin is available free of charge in the FREE version, with limited features.

The PRO version unlocks advanced features and can only be activated through the official purchase of a license.

It is not permitted to:

• bypass, modify, or alter the Plugin in order to obtain PRO features for free

• use unofficial or invalid license keys

Any violation will result in the immediate revocation of the license.

License policy:
The purchase of a license is non-refundable, as a refund system has not been implemented at this time.
For this reason, a 7-day trial license can be requested at any time to evaluate all PRO features before purchasing.

4. Activation and license checks

The PRO version requires a valid license key.
The Plugin may perform automatic checks via API in order to:

• validate the license

• verify the installed Moodle version

These checks are required for the correct operation of the licensing system.

5. Permitted use

It is permitted to:

• use the Plugin for educational, administrative, or organizational purposes

• customize the Plugin for internal use

It is not permitted to:

• remove or bypass limitations of the FREE version

• redistribute or resell the Plugin or the license

• claim ownership of the Plugin

• use the Plugin for illegal activities

6. Updates

The Plugin may receive updates that include:

• bug fixes

• security improvements

• new or modified features

Some features may be available only in the PRO version.

7. Support

• FREE version: limited support via GitHub

• PRO version: dedicated support according to the terms described on the official mdlbox websites

Immediate or personalized support is not guaranteed unless explicitly stated.

8. Liability

The Plugin is provided “as is”.
mdlbox and its developers shall not be held liable for:

• data loss

• Moodle platform malfunctions

• direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the Plugin

The user is responsible for backups and correct configuration.

9. Privacy and data

The Plugin does not transmit user data to third parties in any way.

Only the following information may be transmitted:

• minimal technical data required for API license validation

• information about the installed Moodle version

No inventory content, booking data, or user personal data is transmitted.

10. Suspension or termination

mdlbox reserves the right to:

• suspend or revoke a license in case of violation of these Terms

• discontinue development of the Plugin, with prior notice when possible

11. Changes to the Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time.
Continued use of the Plugin implies acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Swiss law.
